Famous Atlanta rapper/musician, Playboi Carti, dropped highly awaited album “MUSIC” on March 14, 2025 after 1540 calendar days between his last project. A little over a week after release, the album’s first week sales totaled to around 320k units, the biggest hip hop debut of the year. However, fans are concerned for the state of the music industry after speculation of AI Carti vocals being used on 2 of the 30 songs on the tracklist and what implementations it can have on music. “MUSIC” was a grand slam hit for the rapper as it marked his highest selling album and second consecutive Billboard number one. Additionally, all 30 songs on the album charted in the Billboard top 100 songs for the week.
